Mission

The TIC is entrusted with the responsibility to regulate outbound and inbound travel agents under the Travel Agents (Amendment) Ordinance. Our mission is:

to maintain a high standard of professionalism within the industry
to protect the interests of both the trade and travellers

Services for members:

to issue and renew membership certificates
to register changes to membership particulars
to register tour brochures
to collect levy and maintain franking machines
to organise training courses for personnel of member agents
to handle disputes between members, travel-related industries and the public

to help travellers apply for ex gratia payment from the Travel Industry Compensation Fund and financial assistance from the Package Tour Accident Contingency Fund Scheme
