Failure to book Cathay and Dragonair tickets on GDSs

On the afternoon of 6 May 2009, several travel agents called the TIC saying that they were unable to book the air tickets of Cathay Pacific Airways and Dragonair through Global Distribution Systems. 

The TIC immediately contacted the two airlines, which later replied that travel agents which encountered the above problem may contact their staff to see how assistance could be rendered on a case-by-case basis.
