Advice for Travellers

After the Journey

Complaint
  • Travellers who find their trip unsatisfactory may call our Consumer Relations Department to lodge a complaint on (852)2969-8188 . The TIC has staff specially trained to handle complaints in order that both the travellers and the travel agents concerned can reach a solution satisfactory to both parties. In general, travellers should lodge their complaints with the TIC within 30 days after returning to Hong Kong. Complaint-handling Procedures and Complaint Form for Outbound Travellers can be downloaded here or filled in and submited online .
Protection from the Bonding Fund
  • Travellers who have patronised a TIC member agent are under the protection of the Bonding Fund. Set up by TICBF Limited, the Bonding Fund aims to compensate travellers suffering from monetary losses because of the wilful failure to comply with the quality of service committed by any TIC member agent.
