Under the Mainland and Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), Hong Kong permanent residents with Chinese citizenship are allowed to obtain mainland tourist guide and outbound tour escort permits. To help Hong Kong’s tourist guides and tour escorts to understand the details, the TIC is to hold a seminar on Thursday, 24 September 2009, at which Guangdong Provincial Tourism Administration officials will explain specific details of the procedures and requirements and answer questions from traders.

Interested tourist guides and tour escorts should download the details and complete the registration form, and return the form to the TIC Training Department by 12 September 2009. Registration will be closed when the seminar is full. For enquiries, please call the Training Department on 2807-1199.
