Disciplinary Services Pioneer Tours – Advanced Group Booking Information for Museums and Exhibition Halls

"Disciplinary Services Pioneer Tours", a tourist hotspot promoted by the Government, is designed to attract visitors from the Mainland and overseas to explore the rich history and exhibits of the disciplinary services, including the Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum, the Fire and Ambulance Services Education Centre cum Museum, and the Police Museum. These attractions also plan to expand their collections and introduce special themed exhibitions to offer engaging cultural and educational experiences to the victors. In addition, the Hong Kong Independent Commission Against Corruption Exhibition Hall and Café "1974" are open for group visits. To encourage the development of disciplinary services themed tours, group reservation procedures for the visits have been streamlined, making it easier for travel agents to include these visits in their itineraries and further invigorate Hong Kong’s tourism industry.

Hong Kong Correctional Services 

The museum takes visitors on a journey through the historical development of Hong Kong's penal system and gives visitors a glimpse into the prison settings. The new Community Education Experience Centre, based on the theme 'Home ‧ Nation ‧ Corrections', showcases the Correctional Services Department's relations with our country and Hong Kong, and introduces the Department's education programmes for youngsters.
Opening days:  Tuesdays to Sundays and public holidays (Closed on Mondays, and the first & second day of Lunar New Year)

Fire and Ambulance Services Education Centre cum Museum

In addition to a detailed introduction to the history, culture and development of the Hong Kong Fire Services Department (FSD) for more than 150 years, the Education Centre cum Museum will further educate the public on basic fire safety and ambulance knowledge, contingency methods/what to do in case of fire and public first aid skills. Additionally, the National Security Education cum Resource Centre features boards the facets of national security and the related work undertaken by FSD.

Police Museum

The revitalised Museum has four galleries: Orientation Gallery, Thematic Gallery, Serious Crime Gallery, and Triad Society Gallery. With the new interactive technology and interesting elements, the Museum helps citizens and tourists better understand the history, development and daily work of the Hong Kong Police Force. It also has preserved the historical heritage of the Force and promoted related historical research.

ICAC Exhibition Hall and Café “1974”

The exhibition hall uses cutting-edge technology to create an immersive anti-corruption journey for visitors as they navigate Hong Kong's anti-corruption journey.  Additionally, Café "1974" integrates education, publicity with the concept of "ICAC Coffee," allowing visitors to explore the ICAC’s work up close while savouring the signature "ICAC Coffee” of Hong Kong.
