“Happy Chinese New Year” is the most influential cultural brand launched by the Ministry of the Culture and Tourism of the PRC (MCT) on a worldwide scale. The Asia Tourism Exchange Center of the MCT and the Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong will jointly host the ““Happy Chinese New Year 2026” cultural and tourism promotion month among the Hong Kong and Macao regions” (event). Details are as follows:

Date: 27 January 2026 (Tuesday)

Time: 3:00pm – 5:00pm

The event will announce the mascot of the “Happy Chinese New Year 2026” from the MCT, the multi-destination inbound tourism itineraries, as well as conduct promotional activities of airline operator(s).
