Consensus Set for Three-Year Run in Hong Kong, Unlocking High-Value Business and MICE Opportunities
The Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC) welcomes the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) and CoinDesk, the media, events, indices and data platform for the global digital asset economy, to officially establish a strategic partnership. Under the MoU, Consensus – CoinDesk’s global conference for artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and digital assets — will stage its Asian flagship event, Consensus Hong Kong, in Hong Kong for three consecutive years from 2027 to 2029. The move further strengthens Hong Kong’s leading position as the World’s Meeting Place, a global financial center and an international innovation and technology centre, and will attract more high value-added MICE visitors to the city. The TIC encourages trade members to make early strategic arrangements and capitalise on the substantial business opportunities brought by this mega event.
