The level five fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po resulted in significant casualties. Hong Kong citizens express their profound sorrow for the victims who tragically lost their lives in this incident, as well as extend their deepest condolences.

The Travel Industry Council of Hong Kong (TIC), together with its 8 association members (Hong Kong Association of Travel Agents, the Federation of Hong Kong Chinese Travel Agents, International Chinese Tourist Association, Society of IATA Passenger Agents, Hongkong Taiwan Tourist Operators Association, Hong Kong Association of China Travel Organisers, Hong Kong Outbound Tour Operators’ Association, Hongkong Japanese Tour Operators Association), is now calling on the travel trade to unite and actively contribute donations to provide emergency assistance and necessary support to those affected.
