“ImagineLand”, organised by the LCSD, will feature a rich and diverse lineup of spectacular programmes to curate an immersive pop culture journey “beyond fantasy”.

2026-04-16

With the facilitation and support of the Tourism Commission of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR Government, the TIC collaborates with the LCSD to promote the selected programmes throughGreaterGoB2B platform which is specially for travel agents operating inbound tour groups with designated group offers.

With "Beyond Fantasy" as its theme, the "Hong Kong Pop Culture Festival 2026” explores how different forms of creativity interact to shape the unique landscape of Hong Kong's pop culture with a diverse array of exciting programmes such as stage performances, thematic exhibitions, film screenings, and library and outreach activities.

The large-scale outdoor music carnival, ImagineLand held from 25-26 April 2026, returns with a rich and diverse lineup of spectacular programmes to curate an immersive pop culture journey that is truly “beyond fantasy”. At the Forest Stage, the “Go Beyond Concert” brings together a vibrant assembly of local rising stars, singer-songwriters and bands, alongside talented artists from Chinese Mainland and Thailand, breaking boundaries through an eclectic range of pop music genres. Meanwhile, the Seed Stage showcases young musicians delivering refreshing, street-style performances that foster an intimate connection with the audience. The stage also features thematic sharing sessions, linking artistic creation with trendy culture to allow music enthusiasts to experience the profound power of creativity firsthand.

Another highlight, a must-visit “check-in” hotspot “Pop Unboxed”, the outdoor installation to be showcased from 25 April to 30 June 2026, offering surprises at every turn by seamlessly fusing music, fashion, spatial design, comics and original IP elements. The “Funarts Corner” further enlivens the carnival atmosphere with its array of creative booths. For a unique cinematic experience, the “Movie Under the Stars” will host two consecutive nights of outdoor screenings on the lawn, featuring selected local fantasy-romance films: Last Song For You (2024) on 25 April and Fly Me to Polaris (1999) on 26 April.

In order to let more travellers experience Hong Kong's diverse and unique pop culture, the organiser has arranged a special ImagineLand moment for inbound tour groups. Travellers who follow the relevant social media or complete a questionnaire will have a chance to win exclusive gifts (limited quantity, first-come-first-served).

The TIC encourages travel agents to incorporate the event into the itineraries of their inbound tours, so as to bring travellers a brand new experience of Hong Kong's pop culture through a diverse range of performances that combine arts and entertainment.
