The National 15th Five-Year Plan explicitly supports Macao in achieving appropriate economic diversification, continuously deepen Macao’s positioning as “One Centre, One Platform, One Base”. The Macao Government Tourism Office actively promotes in the Hong Kong and international markets to leverage Macao’s unique advantages as the “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure”, thereby further polishing the “golden calling card” as a premier international metropolis.

To further enhance the understanding of Macao’s tourism products and the latest developments in the industry among Hong Kong’s travel trade, as well as to promote exchange and collaboration between Hong Kong and Macao, the Macao Government Tourism Office Representative in Hong Kong (the organiser) will conduct the “Hong Kong and Macao Travel Trade Networking Meeting” on 14 August 2026 (Friday). For the first time, the organiser invites the representatives from Hengqin, with a view to strengthening tri-partite collaboration, jointly promoting the “multi-destination” travel model, and expanding the broader regional tourism market. The networking meeting will include three sessions, with each agency allowed to register for only one session. Each session will also feature a lucky draw.
